Original Leather Werks was born out of dust, horses, and a deep-rooted love for creating with our hands. What started as a hobby quickly turned into a calling, sparked by long days in the saddle and an eye for the gear that makes hard work a little easier and a lot more beautiful.

Growing up around horses teaches you a lot: patience, grit, and the value of quality gear you can count on. That’s where leather came in. At first, it was just fixing things… Patching up old tack, reshaping worn edges, adding custom touches to the gear we used every day. Then came the first bag. The first pair of chaps. The first customer who wanted something made just for them. And the rest is written in hide and hardware.

At Original Leather Werks, we’re fueled by the creative process. Taking raw materials and turning them into something both useful and personal. There’s something sacred about building a piece that someone will carry with them, whether it’s down the trail, across the country, or through everyday life.
